Welsh Slate in Dark Blue Grey is a stunning looking slate and is the preferred slate for roofers and architects all over the world. The slate is quarried from the Cwt-y-Bugail quarry above Ffestiniog in North Wales. The slate is renowned for its stunning looks, realiabilty and general ease to work with, there are not many slates that even come close.
The slate is available in a wide range of size and thickness options to suit every type of roof design. Capital Grade slate is 5.5mm nominal thickness, County grade is 7mm nominal and Celtic grade is 9mm nominal.
